When on placement I am involved in multiple different tasks. This varies day to day as it depends what client I am booked on and if I am working from client site or the PwC offices. Usually in an average working day I attend meetings with my team, complete EGAs and complete any other admin work that other members of the team need assistance with.
I have developed multiple existing skills throughout placement with PwC, such as communication, time management and organisational. I have had to communicate with a variety of people, from managers within my team to the clients finance directors. I have had to balance amounts of work and meet specific deadlines, therefore having to choose carefully what tasks take priority in order to be the most efficient.
I have enjoyed it a lot, having the opportunity to experience working within the PwC as a valued team member has provided invaluable learning opportunities and has helped put into practise what I have been studying at university.
Quite organised. Some aspects of the training and induction days to the offices could've been organised better however overall it is a well structured programme
The support network within PwC when on placement was great. I was connected with a senior manager and an associate who supported and guided me throughout the whole placement.
Enough support, it is more independent when working towards qualifications.
Helps me understand the work I am completing on placement.
Yes, there was the option to get involved in social activities within the office. There was also networking events and socials regularly.
