As a Flying Start on my first placement I was expected to complete multiple EGAs for different business components, communicate regularly with seniors in my team as well as communicate with the client in order to receive evidence.
I learnt a few new skills for example MS Excel functions, as well as bettering my organisational skills.
I enjoy my programme a lot, the work is interesting and gives you a real view of what you would be doing as a real auditor.
Well organised, dates are set out in advance and if there are any changes we are informed with notice.
I received a lot of support in the form of working as a team so the seniors were available whenever I needed help. As well as being assigned a buddy who is on the same programme but in the year above so they have experienced the same things and I could ask them any questions I had. Also being assigned a career coach was helpful since I could also receive guidance from them when needed.
Yes, the Reading office hosted a couple of socials for example a Pizza Party for the September new joiners as well as a Diwali celebration. On top of this they also have a football team which employees can play for.
