I manage a small team and am responsible for the creation and delivery of an email, push and sms marketing plan, alongside the development of an automation strategy. Day to day, I develop plans to support business goals, e.g. email content plans to support promotional activity. I also report back to the business about the performance of my channel, and work with the Senior Channel Manager to continuously improve this.
I have developed a number of skills (particularly time management, how to develop a team and how to communicate with varying stakeholders), and have also learnt new skills like how to have difficult conversations, manage conflict and delegate tasks. Overall, this has made me a better manager and more effective in my role.
I found the programme enjoyable, though at times I found it simplistic - this might be because I have a degree with some crossover of the content. From time to time, the content was not aligned to my role, but the tutors were great at adjusting this to make it more relevant to me / help me understand.

I have had a great experience with City Plumbing - my team has consistently supported and developed me and I thrive on the flexibility and creativity that my team advocates. I enjoy the responsibility that I have and feel supported by my manager.
We value the sharing of ideas, proactive thinking and diversity! If you're a self starter who thrives on responsibility, you'll do really well in our team.
