Overall my job is a multi trained role with the responsibility of preparing, cooking and serving great quality and standard food

I have learnt preparing skills, plating skills, chopping skills, and cooking techniques

Great pleasure working with aptem and their support was fantastic the program offered an amazing learning experience.

Very organised helping me progress much faster than I thought I could

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots of support such as allowing me to start later in the day if I had meetings or allowing me to enter break at specific times to allow me to get lesson plans completed.

Lots of support allowing for flexible learning and help when needed

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has allowed me to gain lots of knowledge in different areas to allow me to help my team more effectively.

Just be positive as much as possible its a hard industry to work in but if possible make sure to smile and be welcoming to everyone and every new technique you'll learn.
