Performing the audit work for entities within real estate, communication with other members of the audit team on work performed and progress made, the same thing for the entity as well.
Yes, developed my communication skills a lot more, and developed my audit and accountancy skills significantly, as well as timeliness and accountability
Very enjoyable with a good community and open communication, very easy to get on with people
Quite well organised, exam dates and learning modules confirmed months in advance which is very useful for planning my time. Good communication to all trainees on expectations with regards to learning and exams
Very supportive, with managers who you can go to whenever you have an issue and also buddies who can help with more day to day questions. audit teams are also very supportive through working together for a joint cause.
Good level of support and mostly clear guidance for exams and revision, maybe lacking in areas such as linking between BPP requirements and ICAEW requirements. However overall they regularly catch up with us and help us set attainable targets for progression.
Very strongly that it helps better performance, building knowledge gradually and being able to use exam resources and bring them into everyday examples through the work experience aspect of the course. The knowledge gained through this qualification has helped enormously with my audit and accounting proficiencies and allowed me to perform better in my role
Yes there are many extra-curricular activities one could get involved in with 10+ prominent internal networking groups, as well as sector specific social activities, such as sports day, Christmas parties etc.
Yes
Very good environment to work and learn in, a sense of community and belonging for all with good career progression and endless opportunities for development. The course they offer is a really good start to getting into the financial world and allows for significant personal and professional development.
Apply early as there's always limited availability. Ask questions, be inquisitive when being interviewed or involved in group discussions, put yourself out there, be inclusive of everyone and when doing any group activities for the job application process aim to include everyone and reach out to those who may be quieter.
