1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a dental nurse who provides chair side support for clinicians as well as carrying out tasks such as deconamination of instruments, desk job and talking to patients about their treatments and many other day to day tasks.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many skills since becoming an apprentice with temp dent, it has also boosted my confidence and allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme with Tempdent, it has taught me so much and I am also able to access help when I need it from staff and assessors.

This is a really well organised and structured programme and it has met my needs accordingly.

My employer supports me 100% any questions or advice I need I am able to get when I need it and I am truly satisfied.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is always there for me weather through an email or a call, whenever I have questions they will be answered almost instantly as there are many different people I can contact for help.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Everything that I learn throughout my course helps me be better at my job and teaches me everything from the structure and what's expected of me also helps me comply with legal laws and regulations.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have may different staff events where we all get together, have a little break and discuss where we can improve in the future.

It just improves how you work day to day and gives you confidence and the knowledge on how to do thing. There is also a great support system in place to help you meet goals and grow your mind.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bath Spa Dentistry?

Just be completely on board and you will learn like never before, you receive so much support and I would definitely recommended joining temp dent.
