Safeguarding and looking after the children in my setting. Changing nappies when needed and providing food and drink for the children at snack times. Developing the children's learning following EYFS and carrying out activities through play with the children. Helping my colleagues.
I have learnt new skills because this is a whole career change for me so everyday I am learning new skills in how to talk and look after the children as well as what is expected of me in my role. I have learnt about Safeguarding and everything that comes alongside it.
I do enjoy the programme I am on as it provides me with new skills and I can develop myself while working.
My programme is organised and structured that I can manage my tasks when needed as well as being a working mum too while on my Apprenticeship
My employer allows me time to do my training and apprenticeship work and will always help me with any new skills I need to know as well as topics I need help with to help me complete my Onefile tasks
If I need any help I can contact my Trainer if needed
100%. Without learning all the integral parts of my role such as Safeguarding and various other topics I have had Webinars on I would not have the knowledge of them so it helps a lot to improve my knowledge and therefore my performance
This is something I do not have or would be in a place to do as my children come first and I need to be there for them after school
Yes
It is a great place to work and the people are lovely and the job role is great too. I have enjoyed my time within my role since starting in September
