This role will allow you to learn how to properly complete administrative tasks and work in an office environment, however if you seek to learn and achieve more, then there will always be opportunities to go beyond your parameters of work.
I've developed my multi-tasking, communication, and listening skills as well as learnt how to take minutes for meetings correctly, organise and assist with hosting events and meetings as well as improve my resilience overall. Developing and learning these skills have been personally valuable to me.
I've never experienced any extreme difficulties, every co-worker that I've come across is welcoming and appreciative of the work that I put in, my tutor provides great communication and assistance with my work overall, and has even gone above and beyond to assist me with future employment once my apprenticeship contract ends. Overall, I really enjoy this apprenticeship programme.
The structure of my apprenticeship programme has been very organised and flexible, the programme can accommodate for almost any changes if and when required.
My employer provides consistent communication, she provides a lot of support which I greatly appreciate.
The training provider has always maintained great support when I've requested help, which gave me opportunities to sped more time doing more work that was outside of my expected job role parameters.
The knowledge I've learnt from my training provider was mostly useful for my apprenticeship role, since many aspects of customer service do apply to administration.
There are many professional events that are held in my workplace, I've had many opportunities to learn more knowledge that I would've probably never known.
Yes
The apprenticeship is a great opportunity to get a foothold in office-based jobs, I've been so happy to not only get accepted into this apprenticeship, but I've also greatly appreciated the many things that came with working in a great admin team.
Always ask for more work, it can lead you to have greater opportunities which can become very beneficial for your professional career overall.
