Managing drivers and a team of supervisors, route optimisation, monitoring traffic and road closures, making sure the operation is running smoothly to ensure all the collections and deliveries are completed in a timely matter.
I was completely new to transport prior to working for Evri. Someone saw a potential in me and I have started as a Tramsport Supervisor. After a year and few months when I have started my apprenticeship, i have passed my CPC for transport managers and got promoted to a Transport Manager. Everything i know about transport and management, I've learned because of Evri and the amazing team i am working alongside with.
I would 100% recommend it to anyone. Fantastic programme with online classes in groups, very interactive and gives you an opportunity to meet a group of grwat, motivated people.
Very organised. Deadlines are clear, communication and support is fantastic.
I have received a lot of suppoet from Evri, as a night shift worker there was no issue in providing a day off for me if I had an apprenticeship meeting in the morning. My line manager and mentor were fantastic and helped me understand the assignments i struggled with.
We have scheduled progress reviews, they are available via email and a phone whenever someone needs them.
Joining the CPC course and gaining a qualification was so fun and helpful! I am much more confident as a Transport Manager!
Yes! Plenty of competitions, engagement, social events!
Yes
Moving to Transport to work for Evri was the best decision i could make for myself. Its amazing how much you can gain and learn. Support i received from a day 1 is unreal!
Be brave, be ambitious and never stop working towards your goals :)
