I am providing support for Social Workers in Children in Care department in Wiltshire Council

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learned much more about business administration and running day to day tasks

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It gives me understanding of how public sector is run and how I can contribute. I learn that what I know is correct or not correct and it gives me stability and deeper understanding of the business processess.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Program is very manageable, the information is presented in a good chanks and I can learn it all bit by bit with a help of a tutor and educational material, also the work is structured, I can do it in a flexible way

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer gives me lots of support and enough time for learning, my colleagues are patient with me and help me if I've got stuck. I found the experience very pleasant and I am building my confidence.

The tutor is always available and it is checking on my progress regularly

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am enjoying learning about the company and understanding the way Wiltshire Council operates and training syllables are covering it in many details

We have team meetings regularly to enable us to collaborate and exchange knowledge

Yes

It has a well structured tutorial and friendly approach to education

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Wiltshire council?

Make sure you follow instructions and continue with doing your homework bit by bit. Also, do not be shy to ask questions. The tutors are excellent.
