  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am an operations management apprentice so I work with anything logistics. I liaise with other departments to ensure that all operations are running smoothly and communicate with each department or team.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt new skills using management software as well as software specific to Christie's. I have also learnt further social skills in regards to a professional environment which has been cultivated by Christie's.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme very much and think that it has massively built my skills up, however I do feel there could be more focus on the learning aspect, as there is a lot of work to do and not a huge amount of time to get it completed considering the workload.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well structured, as well as the organisation. There are lots of avenues to acquire guidance and help if it is needed

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive quite a lot of support from my employer. There are always avenues to seek guidance or help and my boss is always available to speak to if I feel I need further support or time to complete work or apprenticeship work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider is very helpful. We have training seminars every fortnight and workbooks that guide us through our assessments, as well as mocks that help us to use as revision and prepare for our exams later on in the year.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My training provider helps massively with me perform better. She is readily available whenever I need further support and she is easy to speak to when I need advice or guidance for my assessments.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are a huge amount of activities to do at work, social events etc. We also have a huge amount of committees to join which host specific events which are either open to themselves or the whole company.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The company is genuinely like a family, I have received a huge amount of support from the operations office as well as the general/ wider company and my apprenticeship provider has been great.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Christie's?
  • Be clear about your experience and show your dedication and passion to your craft- whether that be within the art world or just related to general business.
