  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I answer client enquiries, and conduct my own research into provenance and history for both internal employees and external clients.

    10/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Time management and patience - some enquiries cannot be answered in a day, and so you need to exercise all the patience you have.

    7/10

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The apprenticeship itself has left much to be desired, but the job is beyond fun.

    7/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Our programme is pre-planned, so we know what events are happening weeks beforehand.

    9/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive ample amounts of support from my employer/manager.

    9/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • They are always available to work through any problems you may have.

    8/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It's vastly unrelated, but it helps with knowledge of the business itself, and understanding more about how Christie's functions within the wider business world.

    6/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Many, many events and "societies" that you can get involved in, which cost very little and are usually after work.

    9/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend Christie's to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a good starting point for any apprentice - they ease you in to the work, and you actually feel valued for the contributions that you may make within your role.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Christie's?
  • Really look into the departments they have (which you can see on the website) - you're most likely going to be working with ALL of them at some point, regardless of which department you go into.
