My role is assisting the brokers with internal and external stakeholders. I prepare contracts for clients and am involved in the placement process from the start to finish. I also complete invoices for clients and manage debts as well as monitoring underwriter funds.
I have developed my confidence and become more confident as I have made more of a difference at the company. I have also built on my responsibility and become more important to the team.
I have enjoyed learning the qualification content such as the exam work and assignment. It has been nice to learn about new areas of insurance such as liability insurances and also to consider the insurance law in place. Some things I didn't enjoy such as some tasks being reoccurring due to the fact I previously completed the L3.
The programme is well organised with a clear understanding of what I'm working on and picking up month by month. By using this has allowed it to do be better structured.
My employer provided lots of support at the beginning of my apprenticeship and helped me understand what was to come. My team and manager allowed to balance my work alongside my apprenticeship.
Davies has helped support me with my coach answering all queries and providing me guidance in various scenarios. All workbooks and tasks have assisted and my coach has pointed me in the right direction.
I think my qualification has built on my skills and given me a broader understanding in insurance.
There are extra-curricular activities available, however none that I attend. I have attended some professional networking events in the past.
Yes
Aon is a very good company to work for with various opportunities and really good people.
I would advise others to think about what pathway they want to go on and do something that interest them.
