  • I am tasked with managing and assisting Pre and Post Contract Construction projects in Scotland. Tasks include managing procurement in Pre Contract stages and monthly financial reporting during Post Contract.

  • I have developed many skills during my apprenticeship. I have learnt how approach clients and how to present deliverables to their requirements.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme to a large extent. The opportunities I am exposed to really enhance my learning experience and allow for development ion my career.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My Programme is well organised with university day release occurring one a week during term times and all documents are provided by my training provider.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive all the necessary support from my employer. I am entitled to one day a week of training and study days prior to exams.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider provide some support when working towards my qualification. Feedback is provided from university coursework's, but this can sometimes be vague with no real detail.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As I have progress at university, I am able to link more module topics to tasks I am undertaking in my workplace. I expect more and more to relate as I progress through my programme.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Within our team we have monthly hub days where our team from Edinburgh come and work in Glasgow or vise versa. I have also participated in an organised Golf Social and office socials.

  • Yes

  • The working environment and opportunities that you are provided with are very beneficial. Arcadis is a great business to start your career with.

  • Be yourself during the application process. Really go for it and go that extra mile to show why your the best when applying for your role.
