  • As a UX Designer, my role focuses on creating intuitive, user-centred experiences that align with both business objectives and user needs. On a day-to-day basis, this involves: - User Research: Conducting interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights into user behaviour and pain points. - Wireframing & Prototyping: Designing low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to explore and refine solutions. - Collaboration: Working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design decisions are well-informed and aligned. - Usability Testing: Continuously testing and iterating on designs based on user feedback to improve functionality and accessibility. - UI Design: Creating visually engaging and consistent interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Ultimately, my role is about ensuring that digital products are not only functional but also enjoyable and accessible for users.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • As a UX Designer, I am constantly learning and refining my skills to stay ahead in an evolving field. Recently, I have: - Enhanced my research skills by incorporating more advanced usability testing methods and data analysis techniques. - Developed stronger prototyping abilities using tools like Figma and Adobe XD to create more interactive and high-fidelity designs. - Improved accessibility knowledge to design more inclusive experiences that meet WCAG guidelines. - Strengthened collaboration and communication skills when working with developers and stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals.

  • I thoroughly enjoy my UX design programme, as it allows me to combine creativity, problem-solving, and user research to create meaningful digital experiences. The balance between theoretical learning and practical application keeps me engaged, and I particularly appreciate the opportunity to work on real-world projects that have a tangible impact. Collaborating with peers, stakeholders, and developers has helped me grow both technically and professionally. The continuous learning aspect, especially in areas like accessibility, psychology, and emerging design trends, makes the programme both challenging and rewarding.
