Working within IMST in different roles such as project management, business analysis and strategy and planning to gain an understanding of how these roles support the rest of BAE Systems. Daily, I work to objectives to complete tasks and support my roles
I have developed communication skills especially with other employees which helps my understand my role within the team. I have developed my independant learning skills at University and in the work place

I feel that with the recent and proposed improvement to the IMST trainee scheme, that it offers a well rounded learning opportunity to develop a career in BAE Systems.
I feel that at the University of Cumbria we receive adequate amounts of support in the work that we need to complete. We have a personal contact if there is anything that we need in terms of work
I feel that we receive adequate amounts of support from our employer and that help is there when necessary. We have a point of contact and a placement manager and the other trainees to talk to
I feel that for our age the salary that we receive is very competitive. Compared to other trainee scheme it is average and there are some others in the area that aere higher
There are opportunities outside of work available to us such as weekly sports and also an Outward Bound trip. There are conferences and stretch assignments to get involved with
