I have loved the programme as it gives me great opportunities to meet people from FTSE 100 companies and grow my network internally within KPMG. A big part of the programme is our progression and KPMG are behind us every step of the way whether it is fellow grads and apprentices to managers and partners.
The programme is very well structured with learning modules being spread out to match our workload and adequate time is given to prepare for exams. Regular review calls are organised with the training provider to make sure everything is running on schedule and to answer any questions on a regular basis
We receive lots of support from KPMG whether it is the internal student support team or assistant managers checking in to make sure the workload is manageable, especially around exam times. We receive regular study leave hours in order to meet training provider deadlines and attend study sessions and exams
We receive extensive amounts of training from our training provider. From regular catch up calls to in person lessons, they are always on hand to aid us in progressing in the cause and are available 24/7 for questions on not just the exam aspects but also the apprenticeship requirements (Skills & Behaviours).
The qualification we are receiving is directly attributable to our job roles and has direct impact on our understanding of our job role. The knowledge learnt during the qualification is used to enhance our knowledge of our job role and is used to excel our careers
This varies based on Office location but with regards to the whole company, there are loads of social clubs, sports teams and culture societies so everyone feels included and wanted. Within offices, social events are planned quite regularly to encourage the whole office to get together and build friendships
