I work in the MEP team specializing in BIM, focusing on residential buildings. My tasks range from modeling risers and apartments to setting up service sheets, tagging, and learning about smart schematics. I aim to gain diverse experiences in my role.
Software Skills: Learned Revit, AutoCAD, RF tools, RTV tools, Adroit, and more. Soft Skills: Improved public speaking and other soft skills. Personal Growth: Realized the importance of asking for help, despite finding it challenging.
Yeah Its pretty good, My course covers a lot of the theory stuff behind the work im going to do. yeah its pretty fun and interesting
Very organized, As im learning on live projects, i learn what needs to happen in this day and age relating to regulations and protocols then i get to deal with the pressure and stress of deadlines which makes me work more efficient. i have a great line manager who guides me through each task and then i have a change to do it myself and receive feedback
A lot. Everyone either in my team or in regular teams can answer any questions i have and i don't feel in the dark. people are patient and helpful. the amount of resources relating to BIM and Revit is insane. there's always a meeting or document about any issue i ever have
Yeah its pretty good. Not the best communication to keep up to date with. Although ive taken up the Course Rep role which helps as i can try and bring change to the system. the topics are interesting but not very entertaining.
It gives me a better understanding to then improve my work, the theoretical side helps me do more things as i have a better understanding. it helps a lot
