Project Design work, Project design meetings, Site attendance for projects in construction, client interface, project management.
Yes many, learnt alot of engineering skills and knowledge and have heavily developed communication skills both internally and externally. I have strongly developed skills in self time and task management.
I do enjoy the programme although occasionally workload and Uni/apprenticeship workload can clash espically during exam season.
The programme is structured with clear goals for development each year.
A fair amount of support is given, with the university/apprentice targets often taking lead over project targets.
There 3/4 meetings scheduled through out the year to review progress and set targets.
Not too much. Most of my skills and knowledge is learnt and gained through project work and experience
There are always social activates and events planned, namely there are themed weeks for example apprentice week or sustainability week where many professional CPDs are held as well as social activities.
