View company profileWhat attracted you to Essity?
I was attracted to Essity because it is a reputable company with strong brands. The company is growing fast, and they have a good apprenticeship scheme and are willing to invest both time and money into their apprentices.
What was your background prior to joining Essity?
I had just come out of high school when I got the apprenticeship, with an interest in engineering.
What do you enjoy about working here?
I enjoy how challenging the job is and how every day is different. I feel like I am progressing every day. Working as a team is a big aspect of the job which I enjoy.
What has been the highlight of your programme so far?
Being able to utilise new skills that I have gained through my apprenticeship together with gaining more responsibility each week. I have also had the opportunity to own the 3D printer for the site which is a new initiative.
What advice would you give for somebody considering an apprenticeship?
Go for it, as you won’t regret it, as it is a good balance between education and hands on work, and you get paid while doing it.
