Level 3 Apprenticeship

An Apprenticeship to me means earning while you’re learning and getting great experience in a business environment. It is an added bonus that I get my qualification paid for and this will help boost my career. When I saw this job opportunity arise within Fujitsu, I did not hesitate to apply. Fujitsu has a huge presence in the IT market and it would have been a terrible mistake if I had not applied for the role. As a multinational company, they have all the resources and support an Apprentice could ever wish for and I would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking about an Apprenticeship to do it. After a lot of hard work within the space of 13months, I have been given the opportunity to move into a different part of the business that I always knew I wanted to be in.
I am a people person and I like to help in any way that I can. This is where my new job role comes into play. I help out with Apprentice and Temporary staff recruitment, the setting up and up keep of the Apprentice community to include the portal site and the mentor scheme and to also help out with the CSR projects that happen within the company. Alongside this, my qualification is a remote visit where I have a tutor come out to meet me from First4Skills and set me work to do and give me the resources I need to help pass each unit. I have just completed my Level 3 Business Administration NVQ so I am now excited to move on to my level 4 Business Administration NVQ. This should take me about 12 months to complete and I am really looking forward to expanding my knowledge.
Outside of work, I enjoy exercise, especially swimming. My main interests are surrounding sport and I regularly go to football matches and sometimes go to watch the cricket (when the weather is nice). I also like to relax by going to yoga or meditation classes which helps me de stress when I have had a busy week at work. I also enjoy going for hot stone massages and just generally pampering myself. I also do voluntary work with a couple of charities which are close to my heart and I love doing this. This kind of voluntary work is the reason why I like to help out with the CSR projects within Fujitsu.
