I joined the BREAKS programme almost 3 years and it was the best choice I ever made. I was given the support I needed from day 1 to thrive and as a result, land myself a role in the MTV digital team! I've grown in ways I never imagined I could, got to experience things I never thought I would! I started off as an intern in diversity and inclusion and talent acquisition, handling social media and working with our internal employee resource groups. 8 months into my internship a Junior Video Editor role became available and I applied and got it. I love my day to day role of editing videos for MTV Digital, it means I get to engage with content I enjoy every day. I was given a lot of guidance and help from my superiors and have gone on to have incredible opportunities, like winning the chance to travel to the US, meet key talent that I admire and work with an incredible, creative team. I highly encourage applying for entry level schemes such as the apprenticeship scheme.
