About Coach Core Foundation

Coach Core is a national social mobility charity, supporting young adults into employment and education through apprenticeships and sport.

We currently deliver the Level 2 Community Activator Coach and Level 3 Community Sport and Health Officer apprenticeships. Alongside this, we provide a range of additional workshops to support long term employment, including life skills and employability workshops, coach development webinars and the Multi Skills Level 2 qualification.

Since our launch in 2012, Coach Core has worked with over 150 of the biggest sports providers, youth clubs and charities in the country, supporting over 500 young people. Depending on the employer, apprentices might be working with: children’s sports clubs, school groups, inactive teens, older adults or those with special educational needs.

If you enjoy working with others- and are passionate about being active- we want to hear from you! No prior coaching experience or qualifications are required, but a willingness to learn, develop and challenge yourself is essential.
