Anglian Water is the largest water and water recycling company in England and Wales by geographic area. We supply water and water recycling services to almost seven million people in the East of England and Hartlepool.

Many of our employees support local good causes in their spare time and our Love to Help volunteering programme supports their efforts, ensuring they can continue to make our communities great places to live and work.

Addressing Climate Change

Here at Anglian Water, we never stop looking for ways to reduce our carbon emissions, and we're on track to generate 45% of our energy from our own renewable sources by 2025 and become a fully net zero carbon business by 2030.

Our Pledge

Managing and reducing emissions by installing monitoring equipment at four large Anglian Water sites to inform our plan on achieving net zero emissions by 2030​

Decarbonising our electricity supply, vehicle fleet, as well as focusing on procuring green electricity​

Removing or offsetting our residual emissions by planting 50 hectares of woodland on Anglian Water sites, exploring nature-based opportunities using wetlands, marshes and grasslands and working with landowners to develop land management schemes that avoid and remove emissions.

Supporting and Protecting Wildlife

We support and protect wildlife because it’s simply the right thing to. We’re pioneers in conservation, restless in our pursuit of restoring and enhancing our wild places for future generations to enjoy and explore.

RiverCare & BeachCare​

Partnering with Keep Britain Tidy we have over 50 RiverCare and BeachCare groups up and down the region conserving our waterways by removing invasive species, enhancing biodiversity, and spotting and reporting pollutions, making our rivers the best they can be. ​
