Register Your Interest – CMS Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship
Are you ready to start your legal career without the traditional university route? CMS offers a six-year Solicitor Apprenticeship programme that allows you to work while earning a law degree and qualifying as a solicitor. You’ll gain hands-on experience across various practice groups, supported by a comprehensive training and development programme.

Eligibility:
- 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, at grade C/4 or above.
- 3 A Levels at grade C or above (equivalent qualifications considered).
- Open to school/college leavers and career changers meeting the above criteria.

Our programme begins with targeted pre-joining events and a comprehensive induction helping to embed you into the firm from day one. You will be enrolled onto a law degree in Legal Practice and Skills (LLB) at the University of Law at a location appropriate to your apprenticeship. Following successful completion of your LLB you will be enrolled onto your Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE). We will ensure that you become fully immersed into life at CMS, through gaining valuable, practical experience across many of our practice groups as well as providing you with world-class training and development opportunities.
