Finance Higher Apprenticeship
Our 2-year Finance Apprenticeship offers the opportunity to join our finance teams at Hilmore House, where the decisions are made, (our central office in Bradford), and play an important role in helping the business deliver our priorities and build a stronger Morrisons. Delivered in partnership with Kaplan, you'll work towards a professional qualification while preparing for a brilliant finance career.
Achieve a valuable qualification and the start of a great career
Join us as a Finance Apprentice to develop new skills and knowledge, working alongside Financial Accountants and Managers, support future plans and make big decisions, making a direct impact on our business. You’ll experience a variety of financial teams, launching your career in the best way possible and learn how to:
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Generate accruals, prepayments and adjustments
- Produce financial reports to help improve our processes and procedure
While working with us, you’ll also be studying towards an accounting taxation technician Apprenticeship (Level 4 CIMA qualification) at Kaplan in Leeds. Upon successful completion, you could move onto our Level 7 Finance Apprenticeship and continue your development.

What you need to join us
Recently achieve or be predicted three B’s at A-level, or equivalent, and GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and English are needed for this programme. Our Finance Apprentices will work within a big team, so great communication, listening and collaborative skills are key. Other qualities we’re looking for include:
- Analytical thinking with plenty of common sense
- Ability to solve problems
- Thrives in an exciting, fast-paced environment

We've partnered with the University of Bradford and University of Strathclyde to create this unique programme that gives you the chance to work, earn and learn while preparing for a career in management.
There are several schemes to choose from, including Corporate, Logistics and Manufacturing. All of them are crafted to help you develop by learning on the job, taking responsibility for people and projects, and working towards a Bsc (Hons) in Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship or BA (Hons) in Business Management Degree Apprenticeship in Scotland.
We also offer a 2-year Finance Apprenticeship designed to help develop your knowledge and financial skills whilst working towards a level 4 professional accounting taxation technician CIMA qualification with Kaplan.
