What will I be doing as a Data Apprentice?

This role will work as part of the Master Data team where you will have an opportunity to learn multiple aspects of the Data Steward role. Your key responsibilities will include:  

• Maintaining group-wide master data on our IT systems (predominantly SAP)
• Supporting the configuration of Materials, Bills of Material and Routings on our SAP system
• Participating in new developments and major data projects.
• Reviewing and rectifying the incorrect data within reports and determining underlying root causes of the issues.
• Ensuring the integrity of both master and transactional data across all systems. This includes analysis of reports, liaising with Business users and processing data and transactions within SAP to realign systems (use of Excel and Power BI)
• Maintaining personal development to ensure constant evolution of your skills.

Am I eligible for this programme?

• Be a UK, EU, or EEA citizen or have the right to work in the UK.
• Have resided in the UK for at least 3 years.
• Not be on a Tier 1, Tier 4 or Tier 5 Visa.
• Be a confident communicator with good people skills.
• Possess excellent attention to detail.
• Basic Excel knowledge
• Numerate and confident with basic math
• Be able to work collaboratively with others and solutions-focused with a positive outlook.

About the Apprenticeship:

The programme is designed in collaboration with Imperial College and Corndel, ensuring you receive world-class training and support. It is a 14-month apprenticeship with hands-on, practical learning. 

Programme Highlights include:

• 12 virtual workshops covering essential data tools and technique
• Monthly one-to-one coaching and support
• Regular self-paced learning (around 3-4 hours a week)
• Practical application of skills in the workplace
• Expert-led workshops and coaching with industry leaders
• Throughout the programme, you’ll work on real-world data projects and build a portfolio that demonstrates your growing expertise. By the end of the apprenticeship, you will be ready for your End Point Assessment and gain a Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship standard. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to earn valuable certifications, such as Microsoft Specialist in Excel or Data Analyst Associate.
