Completed your school studies or thinking about a career change? You may believe that a career in law is unattainable without going to university. Our Paralegal Apprenticeship is here to change that! This scheme will equip you with the essential skills needed to start your rewarding career in one of the most fulfilling sectors within the largest food and drink company in the world. What can you expect?

For two years, you will be part of the dedicated Legal team that ensures compliance in various areas including, advertising, competition and employment law. Your responsibilities may include:

• Reviewing advertising material
• Addressing brand name queries
• Creating training materials, such as how-to guides on subjects like data protection and marketing

Throughout the programme, you’ll be guided by an Academy Champion (a qualified lawyer) as well as the supportive legal team, allowing you to build strong professional connections and grow in confidence.

The programme will shape you into a confident legal professional, equipped to support compliance at a global company like Nestlé. On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will achieve:

• The L3 Paralegal Apprenticeship
• A Level 3 CILEX paralegal qualification

Career progression

“After starting at Nestlé as a Personal Assistant, I transitioned to a Marketing Paralegal role, gaining insights into advertising law through hands-on experience with an external law firm. Now, I ensure that all consumer advertising complies with legal standards and internal policies. I also lead process improvements for expert approvers, align teams on active matters, and enhance compliance within the Marketing team. The role is fast-paced and varied, making it both challenging and rewarding!”

Entry requirements

We’re looking for people who want a fulfilling legal career within a global business. To qualify, you’ll need:

• At least 96 UCAS points (or 260 points from 2017 or previous)
• Maths and English Language GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 (A*-C if taken before 2017)

Just as important is to be full of energy and enthusiasm for learning. We want to meet people who will see this opportunity for what it is — a chance to build a career within a company where there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

You will need to:

• Be 18 years old by the 1st September 2025
• Have the right to work in the UK that is not time limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or on completion
