Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship

As an Operative Apprentice, you’ll gain engineering skills and hands-on experience, working on cutting-edge energy solutions and manufacturing high-quality electrical products and systems.

Role Mission:

As an Operative Apprentice, you will develop fundamental engineering skills, embrace innovative technologies, and contribute to producing high-quality products and services. Through hands-on learning and teamwork, Schneider Electric aims to nurture the next generation of skilled professionals, supporting their mission of delivering sustainable energy and automation solutions.

At the Leeds plant, Schneider Electric specialises in manufacturing and assembling electrical distribution and control equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and components for energy management and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly & Production: Work in a fast-paced, high-tech factory environment to assemble a range of Schneider Electric products.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Test product functionality and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality standards are achieved.
