Digital Support Level 6 Apprenticeship - John G Russell
John G Russell have a vacancy within Carantyne Transport Co Ltd for a Traffic Digital Support Apprentice to join their team to assit with the operations team. The apprentice will work towards an SCQF Level 6 Digital Applications Support Programme.
What’s Involved?
- Input and maintain all relevant client or candidate information into their Road Runner software package.
- Collaborating with other teams and ensuring calls are transferred and messages passed on accurately to internal stakeholders.
- First point of contact for incoming calls and capturing enquiries then updating the relevant team with detailed information.
- Process and manage a high volume invoice processing through Sage.
- Checking and reconcile all invoices for the operations department.
- Working towards weekly and monthly deadlines for processing bookings, updating Sharepoint with details.
- Using Word and Excel to manage documents and pickup/drop off information on each delivery.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- High attention to detail
- Great organisation skills and willing to learn
Salary: £15,704 per annum.
Working week: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager. They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.
At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
Future prospects:
You will gain a full-time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
