Software Engineer Level 8 Apprenticeship - Blackrock

Are you looking to join one of the largest investment management firms in the world?

Blackrock are looking for a number of talented individuals who are keen to learn and grow to join their team as apprentice software engineers. During the 18 month apprenticeship you will complete an SCQF level 8 qualification, being offered full support from both QA and the software team at Blackrock.

What will I be doing? 

• Work with colleagues internationally to handover the 24/7 support of the platform
• Identify recurring problems with the platform and propose solutions
• Gain hands-on experience working with scripting and programming languages to develop product and platform enhancements
• Participate in team meetings, hackathons, and other collaborative activities to enhance learning and development
• Engage with users and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions

• A desire to solve problems

Salary: Competitive.

Working week: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
