IT Helpdesk Technician Level 8 Apprenticeship - Linear Projects

Linear Group are expanding their IT team within their Glasgow office! The successful candidate will provide technical support to staff, often by phone or helpdesk portal.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Respond to customer inquiries
• Provide technical assistance
• Diagnose and resolve issues
• Install or change software
• Remotely access hardware or software
• Follow up with customers
• Communicate customer feedback
• Deployment of new hardware will be regularly tasked. This will be in the form of windows laptops, iPads, and iPhones. Activity in project work will also be required to assist the process.

Salary: 

Your salary will range from £16,000 - £18,000 per annum, which can go up to £24,000 per annum.

Working week: 

8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday / 39hrs a week.

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
