What is the opportunity?
- Accelerate the start of your career in technology and financial services through our four-year combined study and work programme.
- Gain a recognised degree from a renowned Russell Group university (BSc Honours in Digital & Technology Solutions from the University of Exeter) – without tuition or student loan debt.
- As an integral member of our Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in supporting 330+ employees globally. Throughout the programme, you'll gain advanced proficiency in desktop and system support, along with the opportunity to solve complex challenges aimed at optimising our workflows and processes.
- As you progress, you'll have the chance to provide support to executives, lead small operational teams, and deliver high-impact projects. In your third and fourth years, you'll get the opportunity to specialise in areas of your interest such as Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Analysis, and IT Consulting, working closely with industry experts in these fields.
- Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will be a highly-skilled member of our RCM Infrastructure team, with multiple career possibilities.
How will we support you?
We will support you in your learning and development both on- and off- the job through a variety of avenues:
- You will be given dedicated time during the working week to allocate to your university studies.
- We will give you an internal mentor to provide career and professional development guidance.
- You will have regular check-in meetings with your line manager to evaluate your progress – both in work and in your studies.
What are we looking for?
- Entrepreneurial spirit – Drive and motivation to succeed. Great GCSE grades and on-track to receive excellent A-Level results (or equivalent).
- Students need great A Levels to apply – ideally to be predicted 3 A’s
- Reliability – An on-going commitment and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Communication skills – Excellent verbal and written communication with a high attention to detail
- People Skills – The ability to build and maintain relationships with end users.
- Problem solving ability – Being pro-active and forward-thinking in anticipating, identifying, and troubleshooting problems.
